The calculator on this page gives you an estimate. Once you send us the details we confirm a written fixed price, free of charge — and that is the number you pay. The only way it changes is if you add items or services after the quote, and we would agree that with you first.
We do. Double-walled boxes, wardrobe boxes, tape, bubble wrap, mattress covers and furniture blankets. Choose the packing service and we bring everything and do the work; or we can drop materials off beforehand if you would rather pack yourself. Leftover flat cardboard goes back with us.
Moving dates slip — we know. Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your slot. Inside 48 hours we will always try to move you to another day rather than charge you, and completion-day chains get priority rebooking.
Yes. Clean, dry, alarmed storage for anything from a few boxes to a full house, by the week or by the month. Storage is quoted separately from the move so you only pay for the space and the time you actually use — tick “Storage needed” in the calculator and we will include it in your written quote.
London every day, and the rest of the United Kingdom on request — all of Essex and the Home Counties, the South East, the Midlands, the North and Yorkshire, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Send us the two postcodes and we will price the actual job rather than guess at a zone.
Mileage is tiered: the first 10 miles are included, it is £1.50 a mile up to 100, then £1.10 a mile beyond that. Anything over roughly 150 miles we confirm as a fixed all-in price on the phone, because driver hours matter — a 300-mile move is usually loaded one day and delivered the next, and we quote any overnight up front. For Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands we book the ferry ourselves and put the crossing into the same fixed number, so there is nothing to claim back afterwards.
